One of the first things people notice about Michael is his unique British accent. Michael began his career working for Macs Music, one of the largest professional Disc Jockey and promotion companies in Johannesburg South Africa. It did not take him long to rise to the top of the profession. He gained considerable experience doing weddings, parties, graduation dances and promotions. He was often called on to promote touring international stars that were releasing new albums. It was a great way to meet people and it gave him the opportunity to meet the bands and performers, people like Susie Quatro, Richard Clayderman, Duran Duran and Eddie Van Halen. After immigrating to the United States, Michael continued to pursue his interests in the music profession. As an accomplished drummer (pianist and guitar as well), he soon found himself playing in a number of bands covering dance music to gospel. He played with George Engel and the Wedding Band and recorded a number of albums with them. Never having forgotten his days as a professional Disc Jockey, Michael began to work for one of Connecticut’s larger professional Disc Jockey companies. People loved the unique accent and Michael’s ease behind the microphone coupled with his personality gave him the ability to deliver a memorable event. Michael has been the speaker at numerous medical malpractice insurance seminars and business presentations across the country. His communication skills and ability to engage people have combined to his skill as an MC leading to his popularity as a professional Disc Jockey.
